Presentation on Sololearn: Learn to Code

This is my presentation on the app Sololearn: Learn to Code. In doing this project I found a newfound passion to start coding again. I actually had a lot of fun exploring the app and figuring out what I could use it for and how much I could learn from it. Coding was something that I hadn't picked up extremely fast but it was something that I had interest in because I liked computers. Debugging was always something that discouraged me when it came to coding. Having this as a tool to assist in debugging and compacting my code would have been huge. It's almost never the syntax that discourages someone when it comes to coding, it's when they have an issue that they cannot solve. Having this tool alleviates that greatly.

Presenting the app was difficult though there's one feature in particular that I was unable to fully test because it was acting weird when I was using it, that feature being the "Code Challenge". You need someone else to be able to play it and I could never sustain a connection with someone, that could be the app being buggy or someone's connection acting up but that is the one thing that I was unable to fully test. But other than that the app was fun to use and very user friendly, sometimes the "Bug Hunter" game was weird in what it was asking but fun nonetheless.

  5. Coding really is a pain to understand. I’ve done web design in some of my classes and I actually hate that I need to check the script constantly, so that everything works out well or not. The way you interact with the app really makes coding easier, I’ll definitely consider using this!
